The disruption caused by COVID-19 around the world is unprecedented, and non-profits are no exception. Facing declining revenues and membership, how can leaders deal with the disruption, pivot, and apply digital knowledge to transform organizations? How can a volunteer-based organisation stay relevant while better serve our members and society at large so that no one gets left behind? In this talk, Dr Sandy Chong, President of the UNAAWA, will share the challenges in adapting to the new digital norm, best practices learned, and supporting our community to thrive in a post-pandemic world.

A Harvard alumnus, founder of Verity Consulting and the President of the UN Association of Western Australia, Sandy earned her PhD (2003) specialising in digital commerce and international business communication. With over 15 years of experience leading international growth projects regionally and globally, Sandy is passionate about driving business performances with social impact. A strong advocate of international trade and economic empowerment as pathway to peace and security, Sandy is the Winner of Asia's Top Sustainability Women of the Year; Stevie Awards for Women in Business, USA; and Singapore Management Consultant of the Year Award.
