John Inverarity: A Leader in Many Fields

For this third lunch meeting of our Perth Rotary Centenary Year, our meeting Chair - Past President Dr John Shepherd - invites you to join us for Rotary Fellowship and hear from our speaker: John Inverarity MBE. 

WA born John Inverarity MBE is a former Australian test cricketer, greatly respected for his long and highly successful first-class career. Renowned for his leadership, tactical intelligence, and contribution to the game, Inverarity also served as Cricket Australia’s chairman of selectors from 2011 to 2014 and is currently a member of the WA Cricket Board. John is also highly respected for his distinguished career in education as a teacher and Headmaster at various prestigious independent schools, including 14 years at the helm of Hale School. 

John will be interviewed by David de Vos OAM. David has had a distinguished career in broadcasting as a television producer and documentary maker. Widely respected within the Australian television industry, de Vos is particularly known for creating compelling documentary content bringing personal stories and important historical events to life. His Anzac Day productions have been praised for their sensitive portrayal of the experiences of servicemen and women and the families whose lives were shaped by war.
