BEAT — Beating bowel cancer: a personal story and a national mission
For this second lunch meeting of our Perth Rotary Centenary Year, our meeting Chair - Past President Manu Gupta - invites you to join us for Rotary Fellowship and hear from our speaker Nick Lee OAM, Founder and Chairman of the Jodi Lee Foundation.
In 2010, Nick Lee lost his wife Jodi to bowel cancer at the age of 41. Determined that other families would not face the same loss, Nick left his corporate career to establish the Jodi Lee Foundation — now one of Australia’s leading not-for-profits in bowel cancer prevention and early detection.
In this powerful and practical presentation, Nick combines his personal story with the evidence on what really works: who is at risk, the signs that matter, why regular screening saves lives, and the conversations every Australian — and every workplace — needs to have. Audiences leave informed, motivated, and equipped to act.
