Donald Mazzucchelli is at home happy and smiling because he managed to get his leg done before the limits on surgery were imposed.

Don can now be found sitting in his window and playing the banjo watching people walking down near the river near his home.

Don has recently had a few skin grafts on his leg and foot for a skin cancer, for which his fair skin in susceptible.
He says he is progressing really well.

He feels that, after a week in the wheelchair he has gotten very good at zooming around in it.
He will be out of the wheelchair as of today but still will need to rest and keep his leg up as much as possible.

While he admits he is feeling fairly useless at the moment around the house, he is being well looked after by the wonderful Maxine. As much as he would love to be out an going for a walk, he said that if there ever was a good time to be at home recovering, now is not a bad time to be doing it.

We now look forward to Dons speedy recovery and the pictures of Don with banjo in hand and leg raised in rest, strumming along to the activity of those enjoying a responsible physically distance walk along the river.
