Reflections Mesothelioma Support Network began over 6 years ago when our founder, Barry Knowles, along with a few fellow sufferers, formed a community of people who understood, only too well, this terminal, asbestos-related cancer. Appreciating the value of a shared journey – a safe place where people could connect, share and ‘walk alongside’ one another – they met monthly in homes and offered one-on-one support as needed. The group has developed over the years providing care and support to many sufferers and their loved ones.
With the passing of all the original members who had been facilitating this group, Reflections is excited to be partnering with Solaris Cancer Care. This not only provides us with a base for our group, it also allows us to offer additional services such as:
  • Counselling
  • Wellness coaching
  • Exercise and meditation classes
  • Resources
  • Guest speaker events
  • Complementary therapies...and more...
We continue to hold monthly morning tea gatherings at Solaris Cottesloe in the beautiful grounds of the historic Wanslea House. If you, or someone you know, has been affected by mesothelioma, we extend an invitation to join the group.
