The run-up to Christmas continues.  Congratulations to Larry and his team for organising a highly successful Rotary Means Business Breakfast at the Duxton last Tuesday. The room was full and all those present enjoyed themselves. Well done, Larry.

We have three functions left in our calendar this year.
Friday 10 December when we will hear about the joys and perils of paddling, even swimming in the surging waters of the ocean, or even in lapping luxury of our humble little pools at home.
How can we survive when we go down to the sea or sally forth from the bar poolside? Staying afloat seems to be the key. Or one of the keys. Find out more on Friday.  As for me, I stick to the shower. But for those of you who are more adventurous, you need to be aware of other survival techniques. So do come along. Bring your bathing cap and waterwings.
Then there’s the Wonderful Christmas Breakfast Friday 17 December. This is one of the highlights of our year. Don’t miss it. Book now.
And then we have the incomparable Vienna Pops for New Year’ Eve. See out 2021 in style and welcome 2022 with zest.
Everything to play for.
Join the party.
President John.
