Ascot Race Course


The 15th annual Passages Race Day event will be attended by over 200 guests and is an opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of networking, fine cuisine and entertainment as well as raise vital funds to change the lives of vulnerable young people.

What a year 2020 was for us all, I don't think anyone could have imagined this time last year how the world would change during the course of 2020 and the impact it would have everywhere.  
As you know we had to regrettably cancel our 2020 Race Day,  and what was to be our grand finale, due to COVID. However, over the course of XMAS and the New Year, we have been working with Perth Racing to finalise details and I am absolutely delighted to let you all know that 2020 Race Day is back on, albeit it is the now the 2021 Race Day. It is on in  7 weeks time, Saturday 20 Mar, Ascot Racecourse, 12-5pm, the week after the State Election.  Hopefully we have no more COVID hiccups before then.
It is pretty much the same format as previous years, three course lunch plus drinks package for $250 pp or $2500 for a table, many of you know what this is all about, it is a great opportunity to frock up, enjoy good company at the Races but most importantly help raise money for Passages. Passages does amazing work in providing a unique service to help  marginalised and at-risk young people by providing them with a safe, and positive place to access support services. Located in Perth and Peel, Passages offers practical assistance such as food, clothing, bathroom and laundry facilities and computer access. Our dedicated team of social workers provide individualised support to help manage their crisis, develop life skills and access other support services to prevent further crisis and help provide a pathway out of homelessness. For those of you who have never attended one of our Race Days, this is your last opportunity to do so...it is a great day out and you are supporting a great cause.
We have been working hard over the past few weeks a re-engaging with all our sponsors and partners, and the response has been fantastic with 16 tables now sold. That only leaves 4 tables left and we have reserved 2 tables of 10 for Perth Rotary members, so far of which 8 tickets have already have been sold. We are aiming to make this year a very special event, as it will be our last Race Day, with your help and support we are hoping to crack the $1,000,000 mark for money raised over the past 15 years.
