The Western Australian Museum’s Collections and Research Centre (CRC) is a secure facility located in Welshpool, housing the State’s collection of over 8.5 million objects. The CRC is not open to the public and access is restricted to invitation only

Guests will hear from senior curators from each discipline who will showcase and speak to some unique objects with their collection, explaining the provenance and relevance of the objects. The tour will include the Harry Butler Research Centre and Wet Store which contains over 2.5 million research specimens, including a number of unique, highly significant holotypes specimens discovered by scientists of the WA Museum.
