Activate Mental Health recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its monthly Board Games Night at the Victoria Park Community Centre.
Earlier in May, founder Rahul Seth presented at our club, highlighting the organisation’s achievements since its establishment in 2016. This monthly initiative has become a reliable source of connection, laughter, and friendship for people seeking a welcoming place to meet others.
Its inclusivity remains one of its greatest strengths, bringing together participants of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities. The impact of these gatherings is reflected in powerful testimonials from attendees who credit the events with reducing social isolation, improving wellbeing, and providing meaningful social contact during challenging periods in their lives.
Activate Mental Health runs more than 400 volunteer‑led social events each year, supporting over 8,700 members to improve their mental wellbeing in safe, fun, and inclusive settings.
