Members and Friends of Perth Rotary are invited to attend a concert at St Georges Anglican Cathedral, Tuesday 17 November 2026 in aid of the Ukraine Crisis Appeal.   This concert event proudly displays the Australian Rotary Districts and Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) logos as the Ukraine Crisis Appeal is a collaborative partnership, jointly powered, operated, and administered by Rotary (specifically RAWCS), and supported by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO). Through this relationship, RAWCS serves as the official tax-deductible fundraising vehicle via Project 83-2014-15: Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
The Concert is titled "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU SO,".  The evening will bring to life a specially commissioned work that honours Ukraine's unbreakable spirit and features works by Ukrainian composers alongside other musical gems.

The distinguished Fremantle Chamber Orchestra, led by conductor John Keene, tenor Paul O’Neill, mezzo-soprano Ruth Burke, pianists Anna Sleptsova and Marilyn Phillips, violinist Paul Wright, unite with a resplendent ensemble of opera voices for an evening of deeply moving music that will resonate in the magnificent St George's Cathedral.

How can you support this appeal?
  • Come along and enjoy the concert.   Booking link: https://www.trybooking.com/DQFUW
  • Extend the promotional reach:   Please invite your friends, colleagues and networks to attend.
  • Donate direct through https://www.ukrainecrisisappeal.org/.  CRUCIAL: please write "17Nov26 PERTH" in the donation REQUEST so the Ukraine Crisis Appeal can track the funds generated by this concert.

Note: As clinical music therapy programs are delivering significant recovery outcomes, the Appeal is eager to expand their reach. This may mean a child redeveloping emotional regulation and overcoming trauma, a mother rebuilding bonding, self-efficacy and healing, or a veteran navigating PTSD and physical rehabilitation. With financial support, we can make this growth possible!

  • Group booking: Consider purchasing a block of fellowship tickets for club members to attend the evening together as a vocational or social outing.
